It looks like the long wait for director Ashutosh Gowarikar is over. He seems to have finally got the nod of a Bollywood A-lister for his upcoming period drama that is reportedly centered during the Harappa and Mohenjo-daro times. This period film was earlier reported to star Ram Charan in the lead.

The director has been going through a horrible phase commercially at the box office with two back to back duds. The lack of success has put a lot of stars off from him and no one was coming forward to invest such huge sum which the film required. However the lady luck seems to have finally smiled on him as Hrithik Roshan had to drop out of a big budget period film Shuddhi owing to some personal reason. The actor in order to compensate for it has reportedly agreed to do this period film with Ashutosh Gowarikar with whom he had already teamed up successfully in the form of Jodha Akbar.

Is this good luck for Ram Charan or for the director, keeping in mind the subject and time that would be taken for the completion of the film? What do you think?
