What makes a wedding extra special? Surely, it's all in the details! Katie & Adam, wanting their big day to be stylish, added two unique touches into their ceremony. Read on!

Extra Special Details

The first was a tree planting ceremony, where they had their mothers help them plant a new tree using dirt from the homes they grew up in. Of course, this tree will be planted at their new home.

They also did a stone blessing ceremony, where each guest held a stone while they prayed for the couple. Katie & Adam keep these stones in their new home too.

For their reception, instead of a typical guestbook, they made a bench that they had their guests sign! They also had a date night jar at cocktail hour.

A Piece of Advice!

Let your photographer know about special details and events in advance so they are prepared to capture them, like we were! And plan your timeline with your photographer so you can be sure that everything that is most important to you will have ample time to be properly photographed.
