The Moratuwa Police have arrested a 18-year-old suspect who is said to have bitten off his neighbour’s finger due to a personal dispute.
Police said an operation was performed on the injured man at the Colombo South Teaching Hospital to re-attach the severed finger.
It has been revealed at the initial investigation that the injured person has maintained a garage in his house and the noise coming from it had angered his neighbour which led to a quarrel. The arrested suspect is to be produced before the Moratuwa Magistrate’s Court.
