Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by @BorderPoet

By Pamelascott

Aristotle is an angry teen with a brother in prison. Dante is a know-it-all who has an unusual way of looking at the world. When the two meet at the swimming pool, they seem to have nothing in common. But as the loners start spending time together, they discover that they share a special friendship-the kind that changes lives and lasts a lifetime. And it is through this friendship that Ari and Dante will learn the most important truths about themselves and the kind of people they want to be.

I loved every word of this book. It been ages since a book made me laugh and cry so much. I bought it on a whim because I liked the title and the cover. I am so glad I did. Both characters are amazing, so real, so made of flesh and blood I felt like I really knew them. I loved the way they ended up friends, both drawn together because they don't quite fit with other people. My kind of people. I loved their friendship and the difficulty thrown between them when Dante has to live in the USA for a school year because of his father's job. I cried a lot reading this book. This is one of the best books I've read in ages.
