A humorous Look at Taking Care of Business "Assets"

   By Pauline Magnusson

I was chosen to work as a brand ambassador for Cottonelle and will be participating with 50 other Moms to promote their "be kind to your behind campaign" ! I ask the clever and and oh so witty Pauline Magnusson to guest blog and share her experience with the brand as a mom and business woman who deals with precious "assets" daily!

Taking Care Of Business Assets With Cottonelle

Is sitting around all day working on your social media turning out to be a pain in the, well, rear?

It’s a funny question to ask, maybe. But sometimes it’s good to step back from all of these profiles and platforms and just talk, you know, person to person. Just as if you were here in my office, seated among the 3 sleeping kids in various contorted positions on my fuzzy rug. And we might just talk – not about social media (as fun as I think that is), and not about our businesses (though that’s fun too).  No…if we were to step back from these platforms and get to know each other for real, we might actually talk about, well, life.
What a concept, I know.

But back to my original question, the one about sitting around all day becoming a pain in the pattootie, as my 4 sweet cherubs might say, when they’re not trying to play “Shock the Mom” and say “Pain in the Butt.”  (It’s amazing what they think will shock me, really)

As entrepreneurs who likely work from home, we spend a lot of time sitting on a most neglected part of our anatomy – the lowly posterior. Just think about all of the words that we use to describe it, and, like my kids, do our best not to end up laughing our arses off.

Backend Business Assets

I suppose that’s why I accepted the invitation to guest blog here as part of a Brand Ambassador  initiative sponsored by Cottonelle Disposable Wipes.  I’ve got to say, at first, I was wondering what on earth I’d say on a social media site about a product meant to make one’s behind a tad more fresh, clean and comfortable.  I mean, really.
But I’ve got to say, the derriere on which we perch all day is one of those universal human experiences. Everyone’s got one. And everyone has to figure out how to keep it feeling fresh and comfortable. And when you’re sitting on it all day, chances are pretty good that if your fanny’s not feeling fab, you’ll know pretty quickly.  Just sayin’…
The folks at Cottonelle figured that out and have created one of those products that you wonder why no one’s thought of before. Flushable cleansing cloths to keep your tush feeling fabulously fresh and clean.

I’ve got to hand it to the folks at Cottonelle – they practically read my mind the other day.  Two of my little ones are still in diapers, so wipes (the baby kind) are a frequently used item in our home. And I found myself wondering just why my little ones have it so good, having soft wipes for those sweet baby bums, while I as the grown up have whatever scratchy toilet paper is on the roll this week. I’ve gotta say – dry toilet paper can only get so soft, no matter what those ads say. But now that I’ve tried them, I must say that Cottonelle Moist Wipes take the cake when it comes to giving a more comfortable clean.

One of the most brilliant uses of social media marketing is the opportunity to share with our network about the products and services that improve our lives at home and business.  It’s my hope that I’ve interested you in a product that might make your life just that much more comfortable.
