When the list of 2015 Ardbeg Day events first came out I was crushed. Completely and utterly crushed because there wasn’t going to be an Ardbeg Day event in Los Angeles this year. I was going to have to drive to SF if I wanted to go and, well, that just wasn’t going to happen so I was sunk… and then I started chatting with the SoCal Whiskey Club organizers.
Sooner than I knew it #ArdbegDayLA was born and Los Angeles now has its very own, official, event. I know all of you readers aren’t in Los Angeles, but I also know that are a bunch of you are and so this link to the SCWC page to sign up for the 2015 Ardbeg Day LA is directed right at you. Register and come drink the new Ardbeg Perpetuum with me and the SCWC folks. It’s going to be awesome.
For you fantastic folks who aren’t in Los Angeles this post is not completely in vain because there’s no reason you can’t have your own Ardbeg Day. It may not be official, but that doesn’t mean you can’t gather a group of Ardbeg loving friends, collect whatever bottles you have and celebrate in your own way. Line up the bottles, snap some pics, drink some drams and enjoy your Saturday afternoon with a salute to the peaty beast!
