Arbes – ‘Beach Side’ Stream

Having recently released their debut EP Swimmer via https://www.facebook.com/sportsdayrecords, we’re delighted to offer you a stream of https://www.facebook.com/arbesmusic’ ‘Beach Side’. Hailing from Melbourne, the three-piece mix swirling samba beats with lilting vocals and a slacker style that’s hard not to adore. Still in their teens, the band has a sound that will appeal to fans of latter-day Maccabees and Bombay Bicycle Club.

There is something more psychedelic and alternative embedded within Arbes’ sound, recalling the likes of Deerhunter or Beach House. There’s also a hazy and fuzzy tinge as the band daydream about whether it’s better to escape or stay still. Whatever they decide, we’ll be happy to follow our lead.
