Arai keerai Masiyal

A healthy Arai Keerai Masiyal is the traditional dish of Tamilnadu. Goes well with Rice and Pavakkai Varuval. Ingredients:  Arai Keerai - 1 bunch Pearl onions- 1 cup Green Chilly- 5 to 6 Tomato-3 Mustard- few Cumin- 1 tsp Oil- 1 tbsp Method: Clean and wash ingredients and keep them ready.
Remove leaves of Arai Keerai and discard the stem.
Heat oil and fry mustard and cumin.
Fry onion and green chillies.
Add tomato and salt and cook well
Add leaves and cook for 15 minutes by covering the cooking vessel with lid. Once the greens are cooked, remove from fire and mash it well with a pestle. Serve hot with rice.
