Aquafresh Brush Time App: Review

By Maxwell1212 @MummyToTheMax

Getting children to clean their teeth can be a pain. Children can get disinterested and want to rush to finish brushing their teeth before they have completed the recommended 2 minute time period of brushing them. Aquafresh have recently rushed to the rescue with the release of their fantastic Aquafresh brush time app. The Aquafresh brush time app is a app that has been designed to get your children singing and dancing whilst brushing their teeth. Aquafresh have designed the app to make brushing fun!
You are able to download the Aquafresh brush time app to either your phone or tablet - I feel that a moveable device that your children can take to the bathroom is the best type of device to use for this app. Once you have downloaded the app, your child can then choose a character, background and even song to listen to for 2 minutes whilst they have fun brushing their teeth.

Captain Aquafresh and Nurdles the toothpaste, dance to their brush time song and explain how you should be brushing your teeth. The more times your child uses the brush time app for, the more content they will unlock. The app features a countdown timer to show your child how long they have left to brush their teeth.
What I love about this app, is that the app gives your child something to work towards. The fact that your child has to use the brush time app regularly to download different content is something that will drive Maxwell. Maxwell is driven by reward and knowing that he would be able to unlock extra content would be something he will look forward to.

We have been using the app for a few short weeks now and Maxwell has been loving the app and its content. Maxwell was occasionally reluctant to brush his teeth before we downloaded the app however this is not the case. Maxwell now looks forward to brushing time and is always inquisitive to find out if we have unlocked more content and also loves to count down the timer. Maxwell loves the current songs which he has on the app and loves singing them through out the day. As a parent I have to say that the songs are super catchy.
Alongside the app we have been using Aquafresh Little Teeth toothpaste. The Aquafresh kids toothpaste range has been developed with dental experts to give a helping hand at each stage of children's development. Previous to using this toothpaste, Maxwell hated strong tasting kids toothpastes however this toothpaste has a mild flavor which Maxwell likes. The Aquafresh kids toothpaste has a RRP of £1.55 and retails nationwide - we have recently spotted it in our local supermarket.
