Apple has reportedly started producing the latest iPhone 13 in India – steps that increased the presence of one of the largest technology companies in India and betrayed Make in India initiatives. The Foxconn factory in Sriperumbudur near Chennai will produce iPhone 13 units, said economic time report. With the latest announcement, Apple now produces all the latest iPhone models in India. However, if you anticipate a price decline, Apple might not do it.

“We are happy to start making the iPhone 13 … here in India for our local customers,” Apple spokesman India said quoted with economic time.

Apple manufacturing partners in India, Foxconn and Wistron, have produced a longer iPhone model, but the iPhone 13 will start production in Foxconn facilities. Apple’s third partner, Pegatron, said the report, is also expected to start production this month but can take the IPhone 12 manufacture first. Apple now produces iPhone 13, iPhone 12, and iPhone 11 locally, but this is only a vanilla model. None of the pro models produced in India until now.

The decision to produce the iPhone 13 locally came around six to seven months after Apple launched it in September last year. This is a significant reduction of time period so Apple was previously used to establish iPhone production in India. For example, the production of iPhone 12 in India began about eight months after the launch. Whatever, Apple is now launching its newest mainstay iphone model in India at the same time as the main markets such as US and Canada.

With the manufacture of local new iPhone models, Apple plans to increase volume and, at the same time, less rely on import units that attract severe taxes from the government. Instead of Apple sells iphones that are produced locally at lower prices, but availability has increased over the years. IPhone Spike sales around the festival when third-party shopping websites install various offers and offers to lure customers and with local production, Apple has managed to maintain a steadfast supply.

Last year, Apple appeared as one of the fastest growing smartphone brands in India because iPhone shipments grew up with a record of 108 percent with 5 million units, contributing around 4 percent of market share. Experts believe that with the production of iPhone 13 and iPhone 12 production in Pegatron, Apple is expected to exceed the IPhone sales record in India.
