Apple launched the latest iPhone SE earlier this month, and has already been sold. However, it seems like the company does not expect it to appear as well as expected.

According to new rumors outside Asia, Apple told many suppliers aimed at cutting production orders by 2 to 3 million units for the second quarter of this year (which began in April). It seems to mean you want to make around 20% less iPhone SE (2022) than originally planned “The source issued in the Problems” to the Nikkei Asia that the mistake for this step went to the soaring global inflation and war in Ukraine, both of which “have started consumer electronic requests”.

Apple also reportedly cut orders for airpods with more than 10 million units for all 2022, because it seems to predict “lukewarm demand” for earphones and want to reduce inventory. Last year, Apple sent 76.8 million airpod units, according to rival research data. With new production cuts, overall shipping for 2022 may see a decline.

Apple was also said to have asked for suppliers to make 2 million Handset iPhone 13 less (throughout the range) than the planned previously, but this adjustment was explained by seasonal demand fluctuations and nothing else.
