Apple Oats Porridge | Toddler Recipe
Preparation Time: 5 Minutes Cooking Time: 10 Minutes Servings: 1 Cup Category: Dessert Cuisine: Healthy Cooking Method: Boiling
Ingredients: 1/4 Cup Instant Rolled Oats 1/4 Cup Red Apple, Peeled and Grated 1 Tsp. Butter 2/3 Cup Milk 1 Tbsp. Sugar Powdered A Pinch of Cardamom Powder
Instructions: Heat the butter in a non-stick saucepan, add oats and saute for few minutes on a low flame. Add milk and sugar and mix well. Add cardamom powder and cook on a low flame for 3-5 minutes, stir continuously. Add grated apple and mix well. Cook again for 1-2 minutes. Remove from the flame and keep aside to cool. Serve lukewarm or room temperature.
Notes: if you want, you can blend this mixture in a mixer to a smooth puree for toddler or babies.
