A new report suggests there is an expensive Apple VR headset in the works, Facebook's Supervisory Board will review one of the social network's most important decisions and look into the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. This is your Daily Crunch for January 21, 2021.
The big story: Apple could work on a VR headsetAccording to Bloomberg, Apple is developing a standalone virtual reality headset that could debut in 2022.
The headset is expected to include a more powerful processor than the M1 chip currently included in the MacBook Air and the 13-inch MacBook Pro. And it would cost more than most competing products (so maybe in the $ 1,000 or more range).
It sounds, in other words, as if this were a specialized product, perhaps paving the way for a more mass device later on.
