From Bomber Brewing in East Vancouver comes their "Apex Double Pils". The beer pours a straw yellow colour with a white head. The aroma consists of citrus, peach, tropical fruit, biscuit and floral hops. The flavour is of and a pretty good bitterness in the finish. The alcohol content comes in at 6.8% with an IBU of 48. This beer really surprised me being a pilsner I did not expect this much hops! I really enjoyed this beer and I usually don't enjoy this style. This is not your Fathers pilsner (well unless he was really cool).
