AOL’s ‘Alto’ Email Client Allows You to Sync Five Email Accounts

AOL is one of the company’s that made success with email services in the early years of the Internet. But for the past few years, things hasn’t been so good for the company. As a method to revive from their downgrade state, AOL is now planning to comeback with a new web-based email client called “Alto”, that offers users to synchronize multiple email accounts at one place.

Unlike Microsoft who came up with their own online email service, Outlook.com, AOL has decided to offer a new tool to allow its’ users to easily manage several email accounts from different services like Yahoo Mail, Gmail, AOL mail and iCloud. Which is probably a clever idea because it’s not easy to steal millions of users from an existing giant email service like Gmail or Yahoo Mail.

Basically new Alto email client, offers you to connect all your email accounts into one place to make it easier to access them with a single click. A user can connect up to 5 accounts into Alto to read, send and mange all the emails in one place.

This new service could probably give a challenge to other web-based email clients and desktop email clients as well. Currently Alto is offering a preview period for a limited number of users. You can request an invite by checking out the Alto website.
