Any Day Now

I've bought some new stuff over the last week or so... spending money I don't have, when I should be saving! Sigh. These purchases are a mixture of being bored in Edinburgh airport waiting for our delayed flight (MAC), charity shop buys (book), blogger recommendations (Loreal volumising spray), wanting a change (watch strap) and finding a Christmas present I'd forgotten about (Cath Kidston).

First up, I'm loving these MAC purchases - the eye shadow is part of the new Apres Chic collection and bought on a total whim. I wanted an eyeshadow that would be good for everyday, with subtle shimmer. This does just that! I also seem to have a thing for blushers at the moment - pinky, again with a subtle shimmer - and I thought I'd give dainty a go.

I'd asked for this for Christmas, but with no luck. I picked this up (hardback) from a charity shop for £1.49 (absolute bargain, thank you Age UK), and can't wait to give it a read.

My watch strap was getting pretty knackered, and have been trying to hunt down a new one for ages. I stumbled upon a Thomas Sabo store in Edinburgh and thought I'd go for a change and plumped for a white strap. As much as I loved my raspberry pink strap, it was looking pretty sorry for itself and thought white would make a nice change for summer.
I think I like it!

After hearing LLYMLRS rave about this Loreal Elnett heat protecting and volumising spray I had to give it a go. Its actually really good at injecting some oomph - something much needed when you have a lot of heavy hair!

And finally, I found this Cath Kidston set in my bathroom which I sort of forgot about since Christmas. Anyone else get a ridiculous amount of skincare/beauty/bath products which they're still making their way through?! These smell delicious and love the cute packaging... I sort of don't want to use them!

I also picked up a plain tee from River Island which fits so well and will be good for work. I bought this smock dress from ASOS but it was huuuge (in a 10) so have returned and hoping getting the money back in my account will make me feel less guilty for all the other things I've bought!I've now got post-shopping guilt!
