Anupam Kher Listed Among The Five Most Talented Actors In Asia

Anupam Kher – The versatile actor of Bollywood is on cloud nine after being listed among the five most talented actors in Asia by The Hollywood Reporter.

The Hollywood Reporter, an international magazine in its latest issue has listed the five most talentedactors in Asia and Anupam is the only Indian to be in the list.

“Happy to share. Hollywood Reporter in its latest issue has listed me among the five best actors in Asia. I am the only Indian,” Kher tweeted on Saturday night.

The other four actors are Li BingBing (China), Lee Byung-Hun (South Korea), Iko Uwais (Thailand) and Aaron Kwok (Hong Kong).

 The 57 year old Anupam made his acting debut in the Hindi movie Aagman (1982) and came to limelight with Saaransh (1984). He has acted in more than 450 films and is one of the most respectedactors of Indian Cinema. He has been appointed as the goodwill ambassador of Pratham Education Foundation, which aims to improve children’s education in India.

Not only in Bollywood, the actor has also won acclaim for his appearance in international projects like Bend It Like Beckham, Bride and Prejudice, The Mistress of Spices, Lust, Caution and You Will Meet A Tall Dark Stranger.

The actor is also getting Hollywood’s attention for his role in David O Russell’s Silver Linings Playbook, in which he co-stars with Jennifer Lawrence, Robert De Niro and Bradley Cooper.
