You may remember last month when I blogged about The Carrie Diaries, the successful prequel to Sex and the City being adapted for our viewing pleasure (Read it here) Well since then there has been lot of speculation as to who would play a young Carrie (rumours of Elizabeth Olsen and Emma Stone were squashed due to the show being downsized to the small screen.) Well girls, the wait is over, the decision has been made and the new Carrie Bradshaw is...AnnaSophia Robb, an upcoming actress and star of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Jumper. At first I wasn't sure what to make of the news as I hadn't really heard much about her, but after a little researching (google-ing) she seems like the perfect fit for a16-year-old Carrie with her innocent look and youthful but playful sense of style.
