I love the edition of Architectural Digest this month. It is all about art and it's place in the home. We also got to see the most exquisite collections that truly belong in a museum. One form of art I find myself always drawn to is that of an animal as the subject. There is something endearing about animals and art. One can portray them in a serious manner or whimsical and even a bit of both. I think Animal art works so well in any style home. For modern you may want it to be large and in charge and in traditional homes maybe some groupings of smaller subjects work too. Here is my attempt at canine art and I will be offering pet portraiture as soon as I get my Etsy store up and running. Stay tuned!
Meanwhile you may check out both Patricia as
PVE Design and Jeanne at
I Dream Of , they both are fabulous artists who render the loveliest pet portraits as well as other gorgeous works of art.
I also have picked three of my favorite "animal" subject artists to share with you from the Pryor Art Gallery.-
PRYORFINEART.
The AMAZING - Marilyn Borglum above with her spectacular Equine art.
Whimsical yet dramatic! The above art is by Brandon Blane Mc Millan.
