Angelina Jolie was chic in black Thursday night for an event in NYC.

The actress attended  the Light After Darkness: Memory, Resilience and Renewal in Cambodia discussion at the Asia Society.

Angelina participated in a roundtable discussion on the role of art in recalling historical events.

After the event she made sure to stop and sign autographs with fans waiting outside. (One of the reasons we love her!)

Angelina Jolie also received her second  Golden Globes’ nomination in the Best Foreign Language Film category with Cambodia’s First They Killed My Father. The Netflix drama is also the representative from Cambodia for the Foreign Language Oscar.
