Android Gingerbread used to dominate the most of the Android devices. But, things are beginning to change as we now have a better competitor among all Android flavors.
Latest platform distribution stats from Google shows that Android Jelly Bean now powers 48.6 percent of all Android devices around the world. Now 36.5 percent of all Android tablets and smartphones runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and 4.2 Jelly Bean is responsible for 10.6 percent while the new Android 4.3 Jelly Bean powers up 1.5 percent of all devices.

Expect these stats to change in the coming weeks as we are expecting for the Google’s new version of Android, 4.4 KitKat to arrive within this month.
