Verdict on And Mrs
And Mrs is a comedy following a woman who loses her soon-to-be husband on the eve of their wedding. However, she wants to go through with the wedding and must jump through many legal loopholes.
This movie brings a fresh approach to dealing with loss and love. It dives into the grieving process someone goes through with a sudden death and how they want to find a way to honor their love. The idea looks to expose an outdated law in a charming way. Aisling Bea brings her comedy to the movie, which can jump to moments of stand-up routines, but the serious side of the story brings out her best. Colin Hanks is excellent in the supporting role where he brings a calm and charming presence to the screen. Meanwhile, Billie Lourd brings the louder brash impulsive character to life getting the loudest moments of the film. In the end, it is a beautiful celebration of love and life.
