Anawangin Cove, Zambales: A Paradise Disconnected from the World

If you are looking for a weekend getaway from Manila and you are a beach and adventure lover, Anawangin Cove is a must-visit place for you. The island is not much developed which keeps the natural beauty of the place. The island is also a great spot for camping since there is no available electricity there. You will be disconnected from the social media since there is no phone signal in the island. Leaving you nothing but enjoying the beach, waves, lake, and trees.

The boats being used to take you to Anawangin

This place is 3-4 hours away from Manila through public transportation. You can ride a Victory Liner bus going to Iba, Zambales. Make sure you tell the bus driver or conductor to get you off in the public market of San Antonio.

From the public market, you can ride a tricycle going to Pundaquit. In Pundaquit, rent a boat going to Anawangin Cove. Once you are there, you can rent for tents and buy woods if you are planning on making a bonfire.
