Verdict on An Irish Angel
An Irish Angel is a drama following a catholic schoolgirl dealing with an unplanned pregnancy. She has been hiding it from her mom and even who the father is. However, she ends up getting caught up wondering what to do with the future she once dreamt of.
This gets to show the challenging situations an unexpected pregnancy presents. It shows the questions that get asked as people must decide what to do next from within a religious neighbourhood. All while showing a violent criminal world people find themselves in. This shows the lives around us can be challenging and not everything is as simple as it seems. The movie is filled with wonderful performances from the whole cast with Niamh James taking center stage.
