An Incentive for Speed! #CountryKids

Although Little Miss A is doing really well with her walking, the walk to school has seemed to be taking longer and longer! After nearly being late to pick up Little Mr A earlier in the week due to much messing about, and refusal to get into the pushchair, bribery is now needed to have a fast(er) walk to school!

Our school run in the afternoons goes something like this....

Mummy - Shall we go and collect Little Mr A from School?

Little Miss A - 'Oooes' (shoes!) 'Coak' (coat!)

Mummy - Shall we be quick so you can play on the slide?

Little Miss A - 'Lide!'

2 minutes down the road...

Little Miss A - 'Burd!' Stops to look at the bird...

Mummy - Shall we hurry up then you can play on the slide?

Little Miss A - 'Lide!'

A few more minutes down the road...

Little Miss A - 'Oooo flower'

Stops to pick the daisy....

And so on! We have to stop for dogs, daisies, birds, cats, cars and etc!

She is beginning to realise now though that the quicker we get to school the more time she can have playing on the slide and the last couple of days we have actually been early to school!

Stay at Home Mum to two children - Little Mr A born in 2008 and Little Miss A born in 2012. Blogging my way through dirty nappies and school runs!
