An Imaginary Friend

Well whilst I was away on Saturday, a new member joined our family!  Bomb.  Little Mr A’s imaginary friend.  I thought he had passed the age to have imaginary friends but apparently not.

Bomb came to meet me from the station then went to bed with Little Mr A.  In the morning he got up and Little Mr A ‘made’ him some breakfast which they sat at the table together to eat.

Since then ‘Bomb’ has been going everywhere with Little Mr A, even to school today apparently and he ate all of his lunch.  When I asked Little Mr A if Bomb was allowed in school he told me of course he was, he’s invisible so no-one can see him anyway!  Silly Mummy!

It is very sweet the way he is looking after his new ‘friend’.  I do think maybe he is a little too obsessed with Angry Birds though as, since he received some Angry Birds books a few weeks ago, it is all he talks about and ‘Bomb’ is one of the Angry Birds!

I took a couple of photos of ‘Bomb’ for Little Mr A, what do you think?  Handsome little chap isn’t he!

Do your children have imaginary friends?
