Donating Money to Charity by using your mobile phone!
I like to donate money to charity where I can, however, as I'm sure is the case with a lot of families, money can often be tight and at the end of the month it is not often we have much spare to be able to. We donate in other ways such as giving our unused and unwanted items to charity but I would often like to do more.
Donate Mobile have come up with a great way to donate money to charity at no extra cost to you. As with any other mobile phone service provider, you pick the price plan that suits you, whether that be pay as you go or a pay monthly contract and 10% of everything you spend will be donated to the charity of your choice. It really is that simple.
I know what you are thinking, it's going to cost you more than a phone contract elsewhere? Well no actually. Donate Mobile have worked hard to ensure their prices are in line with other phone contracts and, what's more, they offer a price match promise on your current contract.
There are lots of contracts to choose from either sim only or with a mobile phone included, starting from as little as £13 a month and, if you get your friends and family to sign up too, you will be able to call each other for free. Although there are not a huge choice of phones at the moment, Donate Mobile are adding to them all of the time.
You can choose to donate to any charity you wish whether it be local or a big national charity. Since having children I do tend to donate any money to charities such as Children in Need or Comic Relief, however, I think it is also important to support local charities and I would probably choose something like the Cash for Kids charity which raises money to help local disadvantaged and disabled children.
