The bride shared with us: “We had a fall wedding in Imerovigli, Santorini. We have known each other since high school days, we mingled  with the same circle of friends but we never knew each other very well. A year after we finished high school we went on a date to the movies,  and we never spoke to each other again until  almost 8 years later!  Daniel approached me on social media, a few days later we went on a first date and we were together ever since. Daniel took me on a romantic weekend to the Blue Mountains in NSW to celebrate my 30th birthday, and proposed in a beautiful cabin by the fire place.”

“My wedding dress was made by an Australian brand, Pallas Collective. Even before I was engaged I knew I wanted my dress to be by this label, they are known for their body hugging low back designs that made you look phenomenal! I opted for exactly that. Being an outdoor island wedding I went for a dress  that was not too over the top and formal, and I didn’t wear  a veil (due to strong winds).”

“We wanted to keep the theme modern and  on trend so we used a lot of white/creams with hints of gold throughout our  decorations, invitations and  flowers. Our favorite decoration had to have been the double circular arbours we had at our ceremony. It created such a stunning backdrop for our photos and we ended up using the flowers/greenery on our  reception tables, so they were not only aesthetically beautiful but practical and cost effective. We were approached  the year after our wedding to provide some feedback on our special day.”

“My favorite moments were our vows and our first dance.”

Bride’s Advise: “Don’t allow yourself to get carried away with the planning and budget, sometimes the simpler you keep things the better. Remember why you’re doing it, because you have found the love of your life. On the day you’re guests won’t remember the color of cutlery you had, they will remember how they felt and the fun they had being a part of your special day.”
