American Beer Bar Taps Football Fans

Every year there is one major event that brings American football fans together the world over - the Super Bowl. This year marks the 46th edition of the Stateside sporting event, pitting the New England Patriots against the New York Giants.

In Amsterdam, a city with hundreds of American expats, you can expect a bit crew of viewers will be gathering for the big game. And that crew will inevitable descend upon the only American beer bar in Europe, the Beer Temple. The micro-brew haven is hosting a very special Super Bowl viewing night on Monday 6 February at 19.00 for football fans.

Big screen TVs will broadcast the pre-recorded game, along with its world famous commercial highlights. Already, buzz has begun on the Internet about the ads, which cost upwards of 3.5 million US dollars for each  30 second spot. That, in addition to a half-time show with the Queen of pop herself, Madonna ensures an absolutely entertaining event for everyone - regardless of which team they support.

Because nothing pairs with football better than beer and hot wings, the Beer Temple is offering a special menu of American favourites to accompany their already extensive US brew list. Expect breweries including Left Hand and Flying Dog as well as an array of American inspired I.P.A. specialties to be the beverages of choice as football fans balance a pint in one hand and a fist pump for their team in the other!
