Rep. Elijah E. Cummings lay in rest in the Capitol Building on Thursday. It was an honor that he richly deserved.
In these troubled times, when this country is so divided, I just hope that the American people can find a way to live up to Rep. Cumming's exhortation - "We are better than this".
