It seems that AMD’s launch of new products which include Radeon RX Vega and X399 platform for HEDT processors is now official. AMD is expected to address the press and its fans on May 31 at Computex where it’s expected to announce its latest products being released in 2017.

It is yet another year, and the announcements will still take place at Computex. Most technological companies usually use Computex as the venue for announcing their new releases. This year we are expecting to see high-end products from the leading industry players who make custom solutions for Intel, AMD, and NVIDIA. However, the most anticipated products are the Radeon RX Vega and X399 platform from AMD. It is now official that AMD will be at Computex at the end of May 2017 at 10 AM to unveil their latest products and technologies.

The show that is expected to be hosted by AMD CEO, Dr. Lisa Su, in collaboration with other AMD executives, will provide individuals an opportunity to see and learn about the cutting-edge technologies and latest products from AMD. AMD has a history of bringing competition and innovation to these shows in the previous years with the release of Ryzen processors. Individuals are now looking forward to getting more details on 2017 products.

In 2016, AMD announced the release of their Polaris based Radeon RX 400 series cards. This year it is expected that AMD will announce something new at Computex including the highly awaited Radeon RX Vega Series cards. It has been over a year since the previous launch of Radeon R series flagship. It’s expected that AMD will announce something new this year such as their latest GPU products for gaming.

The new Radeon RX Vega is expected to offer improved user experience due to its super fast HBM2 memory and a unique architectural design from the ground up. This is not all since AMD is also expected to unveil their latest HEDT platform – the X399.

In fact, there are clues on how X399 will look like from the information that has been leaked recently. It’s already known that AMD X399 HEDT Ryzen processors will not differ much from Snowy Owl Naples chips but will be modified for a new socket. It is also expected that the chips will have a variety of configuration from 8, 12 and 16 cores which will compete directly with X299 Skylake X processor from Intel.  The X299 is expected to come with 6, 8, 10 and 12 core configurations.

The fascinating thing is that AMD will be launching its X399 in the same period as Intel which is expected to launch its X299 early next month. We can expect the chips to be available on the market as early as next month. X299 and X399 are expected to have a brutal competition which will give the two companies a chance to prove superiority in the making of high-end processor chips. There is information that AMD will also bring along an army of X399 boards which are already in production.

The upcoming AMD Computex show will give PC builders and gamers an opportunity to experience and learn more about the awaited Radeon RX Vega. The event will be streamed live online to cater for those who can’t manage to attend physically.
