AMC's Mad Men - Sterling Cooper's Office

By Vsudarsan
I was introduced to AMC's Mad Men by my husband -- "Watch this show, you will like the decor..". Of course he was right... I fell in love with the mid-century modern decor, drama, costumes, and actors. The incredible details in these sets took me back an era -- a time period before I was even born. I could easily see a snapshot of an office at Madison Square, NY in the 60's without a doubt.  Kudos to the set directors -- Amy Wells (seasons 1-3) and Claudette Didul (seasons 4-5) for creating this ambiance.
I'm seeing this style making a comeback... How about you? All you need to is to bring in the right amount of mid-century pieces so that you are still in this era but enjoying the decor from the 60's. I think it is totally possible :)
I've a few links how the decor is being managed and few stills from AMC's Mad Men (images courtesy of AMC studios).
