Amazon launched a large update for the main video application on several platforms. This update carries a visual reshuffle that is needed to Google TV, Android TV, TV Fire, Roku, and Apple TV devices. In addition, updated UI is also available in the main video application for consoles.

The refreshed UI Video Prime resembles Netflix and Disney+, with a large preview window at the top, followed by a list of the top 10 new and the recommended TV ranks and TV shows are sorted according to various categori ft edge, which gives you quick access to search, home, shop, direct TV, free, and my goods section.

Along with changes in the interface, Prime Video now also has a new visual sign to show whether a piece of content is available in your subscription or available for rent/purchased. Videos that are included in your main video subscription have a blue check mark, while those available for rent/purchased have a gold shopping bag icon.

Talking about the new visual signal, Helena Terna, Director of Global Product Management for Prime Video, told Variety, “We certainly want customers to understand the extent of the content available for them, by entering clearly and can find out which titles are expensive. “

The new Amazon Prime video interface will begin to be launched to users on the platform mentioned above this week. In addition, it will be launched to the main video application on Android. The web interface and iOS application, however, will receive an update “in the coming months.” At present, it is unclear whether the new interface was launched to the main video application for MacOS. See the video embedded above for a quick picture of the new prime video interface.
