One of the most promising areas in gaming over the past year has been cloud gaming. Microsoft xCloud This option allows you to play new Xbox games on your phone. Games released on Google Stadia can be played on any phone, laptop or computer. And now Amazon wants to get in. On Thursday The e-commerce giant announced Luna, its own cloud gaming service.
The biggest puzzle is the games available on the platform. Amazon hasn't provided a list yet, although we know Ubisoft will bring Assassin's Creed Valhalla to the platform. Luna runs on Amazon's AWS servers and when it launches, games are streamed at resolutions up to 1080p and 60 frames per second. Support for 4K is referred to as "Coming Soon".

A Luna Plus subscription is $ 5.99 per month and you also need a Luna D-pad. It currently has an "Early Access" price of $ 49.
An exact release date was not given for Luna. However, you can sign up for early access to the service through the Amazon website. Unfortunately, this early access is only available to US residents.
Click this link to Amazon's Luna page to register for early access. Then, complete a short survey that includes questions about how often you play, what devices you own, your zip code, and internet speed. (Amazon recommends a minimum internet connection speed of 10 Mbps.) Once that's done, click the "Request Early Access" button and "Voila".
Unfortunately, early access is only available by invitation, which means that not everyone who signs up will receive a code. When Early Access goes live, Luna will be able to use PC, Mac, iOS and Amazon Fire TV platforms.

What games will be on Luna?
Amazon has not yet published a comprehensive list of the titles available on Luna. However, it has been said that games available in the Early Access Period will include:
- Resident Evil 7
- control
- GRATING
- Yooka-Laylee and The Impossible Lair
- Brothers: A Story of Two Sons
We also know that Ubisoft will bring its two big titles, Assassin's Creed Valhalla and Watch Dogs Legion, to the platform in late 2020. But it looks like you have to pay extra to play these games.

The Luna page of the Amazon website shows that Ubisoft will have its own "channel" - presumably an area where you can play Ubisoft's games - and that you will likely have to pay extra for it. It is currently unclear which games will be available on the Luna Plus channel and which publishers will get their own section.
