Amalfi is the main town of the coast on which it is located, named Costiera Amalfitana, gives its name to coast, known worldwide for its artistic and natural beauty, its clear sea.Vacationing on Italy’s Amalfi Coast is to be immersed in natural beauty, tradition and culture. The region is both serene and ever-changing. The colors of the Tyrrhenian Sea turn from sapphire to teal to turquoise depending on the time of day. In the harbor, you may see long, elegant yachts sailing past, colorful fishing boats returning with their catch, or water taxis zipping from one place to another.
Turning landward the view is just as spectacular. The coastline rises steeply from the water’s edge, creating a rugged mountainous terrain that juxtaposes dramatic cliffs with numerous picturesque villages built into the sides of the rock. Each town is a terraced composition of pastel stucco, orange roof tiles and mosaic domes.

The
Amalfi Coast is known for it's huge lemons and an aperitif called "Limoncello". Limoncello is basically the essence of Amalfi lemon rind in pure grain alcohol. Served ice cold, it's very strong and tastes really good.


Positano is the dream place of amalfi coast in Italy. In the days of the Roman Empire, it was very fashionable for rich Romans to build villas on the Sorrentine Peninsula. One such villa was built in Positano, where the church now stands. After the fall of Rome, Positano became part of the Amalfi Republic.

Celebrated for its unique vertical landscape, stunning views and pebbly beaches — some very secluded, others as popular and sociable as the piazza — Positano is a multi-level trove of traditional and contemporary treasures.

Ravello is one of the most prestigious place in the world. The Music Festival, the roman villas Cimbrone and Rufolo, palazzo Sasso, the luxury hotels and the gardens. Scene of exclusive marriages and preferred place for artists.

Praiano is between Amalfi and Positano, famous for its caves "Grotta dello Smeraldo".Maiori town was a tourist resort since Roman times and now is a beautiful seaside resort.

Vietri sul mare is the port of entry of amalfitan coast. Founded by the Etruscan and expanded during the Roman period is known internationally for its fine ceramics, is one of the most important town on the Amalfi Coast.
