Road trips make great memories. Whether it’s the beautiful scenery, the people you meet along the way, or even the flat tires, you’re sure to have some great stories to tell after finishing a road trip. Our family took a road trip through Florida last summer, and it was the highlight of the year! We went ziplining in Ocala, visited a theme park, saw manatees and alligators at Wakulla Springs, and enjoyed the beach near Clearwater. We also made it a point to take many less-traveled roads so we could see the more rural areas of Florida. It was such a wonderful experience, and we’d love to take another road trip to see what other areas we can uncover in our home state.
Alvin and the Chipmunks are also going on a road trip in their upcoming movie, and I have a feeling that their trip will be a little more chaotic than ours! Check out the trailer below, as well as scenes from the movie, which comes to theaters on December 18. It’s already on our family’s list of movies to see this holiday season!
About the movie:
Through a series of misunderstandings, Alvin, Simon and Theodore come to believe that Dave is going to propose to his new girlfriend in Miami … and dump them. They have three days to get to him and stop the proposal, saving themselves not only from losing Dave but possibly from gaining a terrible stepbrother.
