Ingredients:
3 boiled potatoes and mashed
1/4 cup coriander leaves
1/4 cup mint leaves
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp dry mango powder/aamchur powder
3 green chillies ,chopped
salt, as per taste
2 tbsp corn startch
2 tbsp besan(chickpea flour)
Breadbrumbs, for coating
Method:
1.In bowl,mash potatoes.
2.Add green chillies,cumin powder,aamchur powder,coriander and mint leaves.
3.Add corn startch and besan flour.Add salt as per taste.
4.Make a dough like ball.
5.Apply little oil on your palm and roll out tikkis shown in picture.
6.Then,immerse these tikkis in rava/bread crumbs on both sides.
7.Heat oil in pan on medium heat, shallow fry these tikkis until they become crispy and brown.
8.Fry from both sides till brown color appears.
9.Serve hot tikkis with green chutney or date-tamarind chutney.
In my version, I missed breadcrumbs for coating.Add it, Aloo tikkis are more crunchy then.
