I really enjoyed Alone and Not Alone. I've enjoyed the work of the poet before. I liked the illustration of Pinocchio on the front cover and this made me want to read the book. The poet's American and his style is very different from home-grown poets. One of the things I enjoy about reading so much poetry is the different styles and poets you come across. I enjoyed all of the poems in this collection. They're written in sharp, clear language and mostly have a playful tone which I enjoyed. I especially liked Reality, Circles, Coffee Man, Face Value. 102 Today and Art Lessons.
