Almond Lavender Butter Cookies

By Ally @allykitchen

Dainty butter cookies. The kind that just melt in your mouth with each bite. You can taste the buttery goodliness and with these cookies you're going to be getting hints of almonds and lavender!

Some cookies, like butter cookies, may seem complicated to make. Like you need to be a pastry chef to turn them out perfectly. But, I'm here to tell you, and, well, show you in this short littl' video made right in my kitchen that you can do it! Regardless of you cooking skill level, you're going to see just how easy these cookies are to make.

When you're storing these cookies, I recommend that you don't cover them super tightly, like air tight. That will eventually lessen the crispiness of them. And, I think they're best with a tad of outer crisp. So, what I do is put these cookies on a cake pedestal and cover them with a beautiful vintage linen dish towel. They'll last a few days without any problem, well, depending upon the humidity level(s) of your location.

On another note, totally unreleated to almond lavender butter cookies, if you're looking for how to get three meals from one roasted chicken, then this video and these recipes are a must!
