True Blood executive producer Alexander Woo is developing another television show this time for AMC. At the beginning of November, we reported that Alexander was developing a show called Headhunters for HBO. According to a report from Variety posted yesterday, he is currently writing the script and will executive produce the series Bombingham with Aaron Kaplan.

Bombingham revolves around a 1963 murder whose consequences reverberate in the present day. Apparently the series will shift between the present day and 50 years before around the time of the murder. Bombingham refers to the name of giving to Birmingham by the black community while the city suffered racially motivated bombings from the 1940′s into the 1960′s.

In addition to Headhunters and Bombingham, Alexander is also writing the script for the Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks, a telepic currently being shepherded by True Blood creator Alan Ball and Oprah Winfrey’s Harpo Productions.

What do you think of Alexander’s new project?
