Airtel Launches India’s First 4G Service

Bharti Airtel, a leading global telecommunications company with offices in 20 countries in Asia and Africa, is India’s first 4G service launched in Kolkata.

The state-of-the-art network services is based on TD-LTE, makes India as one of the first countries in the world to commercially deploy this advanced technology.

Its introduction is followed by India, the most advanced telecommunications markets in the world and marks the beginning of a new chapter in the history of the country successful telecommunications.

Airtel 4G (TD-LTE) network was developed by Kapil Sibal, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, India launched. Airtel 4G, as well as offering excellent quality content that enables fast access to high definition (HD) video streaming, multiple chat, instant uploading photos, and more. In 2010, Airtel was able to provide licenses for BWA spectrum in Kolkata, Karnataka, Punjab and Maharashtra (excluding Mumbai) circles. There is currently working on spread state-of-the-art networks in the district except Kolkata.
