The Patrouille de France is the precision aerobatic demonstration team of the French Air Force and conducted a 2017 US tour to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the United States entry into World War I to fight alongside the French. This show at Mather was the only West Coast performance for the team on this tour and was also the first appearance of their new companion aircraft. This A400M aircraft is used for support personnel and cargo transport, but also participated with a flight demonstration. First flown in 2009 and entering service in 2013, 178 of these aircraft were ordered.
