A Discover Airlines A320-200 spotted on the tarmac at Frankfurt, Discover is a German leisure airline owned by Lufthansa. Half of their small fleet are these ex-Lufthansa A320-200s. In September 2023, Eurowings Discover announced its new identity as Discover Airlines though this aircraft hasn’t changed livery yet. First flown in 1984, the Airbus A320 family pioneered the use of digital fly-by-wire flight control systems, as well as side-stick controls, in commercial aircraft. As of December 2023, over 11,200 Airbus A320-family aircraft have been delivered, with another 6,500 on order.
