Aint No Junkie - My Current Make-up Favourites!

By Emmielois @emmielois

Not so long ago, I did my first ever beauty post on my favorite beauty/skin/hair bits and bobs that I love to use - (you can see it by clicking Here) Now, I am coming back with my current make-up faves that I love to use...so lets get started!
Face  . The Stay Flawless 15-hour Primer - from Benefit
If you are anything like me and have skin that make-up just seems to slide off, then I really recommend investing in a good primer. This one from Benefit does the trick. Simply apply before foundation and you are good to go! Personally I think it is an absolute essential, especially for those long days and for parties or going out.
. The Match Perfection Radiance Foundation - from Rimmel London
I don't like to wear foundation everyday because I think there's no need really, but this foundation is really light and loose and doesn't feel 'cakey' like some (if that makes sense). The only problem with it is that I have bought a slightly darker shade than I needed, so I just wear this one for when I go out; I need to go and buy another one that makes me look less orange!
. The Hoola Bronzer - from Benefit
Sadly, I have yet to develop cheekbones like Keira Knightley or Angelina Jolie. So for now,  I will just pretend and use this bronzer in the mean time. With THE softest makeup brush ever, it's easy to sweep over your cheekbones to add a little contouring, or you can apply it anywhere you'd want to look a bit more tanned.
.'Blushed cheeks' blusher - from Natural Collection

A cheap and cheerful little blusher that does the trick. I not a fan of really pink or coral blushers, I prefer muted, dusted pinks like this one. It's the perfect size for when you are on the go and I find that it compliments my skin color really well.
Eyes
.They're Real! Mascara - from Benefit

THE holy grail of mascaras. So many people have raved about this product and with good reason. My mom has often asked if I had fake eye lashes on, when in fact I was just wearing this mascara.
'Nuff said really.
.Glam Eyes Lash Flirt Volume and Lift Mascara - from Rimmel London

This is great for separating your eyelashes whilst also giving them volume and lift (like the title suggests). I find that the shape of the wand is also great for lower lid eyelashes. Mine are quite short, so I always use this brush just to separate them out a bit and make them look longer.
.Lightning Touch Eye Concealer - from The Body Shop

About a year ago, I went into The Body Shop and asked for a recommended concealer for 'under the eyes'. They suggested this one and I am so glad they did! I have used it nearly every day and it has lasted a whole 9 months and has literally just ran out a few days ago. If that isn't getting your moneys worth then I don't know what is.
.Lasting Perfection Ultimate Wear concealer - from Collection

To replace the above, I bought this. After hearing so many youtubers and beauty bloggers rave about this product, I thought I would give it a whirl. Oh . my . gosh. It is THE holy grail of concealers. It covers, it lasts, it's cheap (well, kind of) and gets . the . job . done. Don't let the door hit you on the way out pesky eye bags!
.Undressed Eye Shadow palette  & Ever After matte palette - from MUA Makeup academy

A cheap alternative to the Naked palettes. I have been using these non-stop, mixing and matching shades that easily suit a day and night time look. Definitely recommend.
Lips
.The Moisture Renew Lipstick - from Rimmel London
(in the shade 'In Love With Ginger' - 660)

For me, nothing beats a good red lipstick. This one is the perfect shade, it's got a slight orange tint to it, which makes the color look even bolder and brighter.
. The Moisture Shine Lipstick - from Natural Collection
(in the shade 'Crimson')

A cheaper alternative to the above. It's a slightly darker shade of red, but is perfect for a 'backup' lipstick.
Brushes
. Real Technique Eye and Face brushes

I love using these brushes, they are so soft on you skin and are shaped perfectly. *hugs for Samantha Chapman for creating these beauties*
I am by no means a 'beauty guru'. I know very little about make-up and really just go by word of mouth because I do not have the money to be experimenting with different products. I use makeup wipes most nights. I don't throw products out after six months. I just keep using th-  I sense I should stop before I give some of you beauty gals a heart attack. Quick! Get the cleanser!
I simply just wanted the share the products that I have been loving with you.
Comment below if you use or have used any of these products and let me know what you thought!
Hugs.
