Verdict on Aint Hidin Nuttin

Aint Hidin Nuttin is a documentary drama following a group of residents from London that reflect on what happened in their lives. We get to see the acting side behind everything they went through, while the documentary side is the adult versions looking back on the mistakes.

Director Daniel Glenn-Barbour follows up Yes-Man with another drama that shows the pressure piled on youths in London. It gets to show the world they are left in without much hope and the best way to make money means risking their futures. This does hit hard and shows changes needed, even if some of the stories are success stories.

The decision to split the movie into a drama and documentary is interesting because it takes away from the stories just being told. It helps with the visualisation of the events, giving us a better connection to the young figures in the story.

Final ThoughtsAint Hidin Nuttin is a raw journey into troubled lives.
