Verdict on Aftermath

Recap

The movie follows a PTSD-ridden soldier who uses his skills to deal with a hostage situation involving his younger sister. An expert military unit has taken over a bridge demanding the release of his unity. However, the soldier will do anything to help fight back.

Best Parts

The isolation used for the plot is fantastic, it gives the terrorists full control and keeps any incoming rescue away. It is basically Die Hard on a bridge, and it is an entertaining formula which works. This keeps us on the edge of our seats and wondering what the bigger picture is.

Worst Parts

It is hard to believe the terrorists have a plan to get off this bridge. They are just as stranded as the hostages throughout the situation.

Final ThoughtsAftermath is a great action thriller that keeps us on edge.
