Good trailer for a documentary. Back in the day, there were few Blacks in the scene. However, those that were were welcomed with open arms. I remember see a few Blacks here and there at shows. I have nothing against Blacks listening to what is de facto White music. It gives us one more thing to connect on. As it is, Whites have their music and Blacks have their music. Just seems to be one more way of splitting us apart as opposed to bringing us together more.
Pat Smear of the Germs was half-Black, as was Poly Styrene of X-Ray Spex. There was almost no racial discrimination in the early days of the scene that I am aware of.
