I went on an adventure the other day and it was totally out of my comfort zone. For those of you who don't know, but I am terribly frighten of large bodies of water. I'm not sure if it's a suppressed childhood thing but, it's one of my biggest fears. I had the chance to overcome that fear this past Sunday. Thanks to the folks at Xperience Days, I headed off with the bf for a sail around the New York Harbor.
Funny thing is that I was more worried about what I was planning on wearing, then the actual thought of being on a boat. It was chilly and slightly drizzling but we didn't let it stop us. I picked out an easy breezy outfit. I mean, I still need to look some-what fashionable? Right? I asked myself for about a week, "what does one wear on a sail boat?" Seriously, what do you wear on a boat? I knew I had to wear flats, because it would be ridiculous being on a sail boat in 3 inch heels. After the usual ripping apart of my closet, I finally settled on a casual day time look. We strolled the boardwalk at Chelsea Piers in before boarding this thing they called a boat.
