Advent Calendar – Day Nineteen

Nineteen days! Nineteen days! Just six more to go!

Anyway, all appalling excitement aside, the nineteenth dress in the Flouncy Calendar of DOOM is this gorgeous Worth gown from around 1910, which I think is one of my favourites as I love pretty much everything about it – although I know that shade of almost pumpkin orange would look terrible with my blue hair.

Which Downton Abbey character can you imagine wearing this? It’s too whimsical for Ladies Mary or Edith but I reckon it would be just perfect for poor Lady Sybil (RIP). In fact I can just imagine her flouncing about in this during her Coming Out in London. What do you think?
