Adam Bomb Squad and Cool Cats Turn up the Heat in Crypto Winter

Posted on the 20 August 2022 by Nftnewspro

The Hundreds’ Adam Bomb Squad and Cool Cats are two NFT projects that are going in different directions but have the same goal: to build a community of collectors and fans who love the show very much. In this way, Adam Bomb Squad and Cool Cats are giving holders of their respective NFTs unique T-shirts, sweatshirts, and totes.

Both Cool Cats and Adam Bomb Squad came out in the summer of 2021, but for very different reasons, they caught the attention of the NFTs community right away.

Cool Cats’ collection of more than 10,000 NFTs became a “blue chip” project all of a sudden. Cool Cats not only made a big deal with the famous talent agency CAA, but they also promised NFT holders access to the play-to-earn game Cooltopia, which would give players Cool Cats’ own $MILK token as a reward.

But after Cooltopia came out, the token’s value went down

Many people who owned Cooltopia tokens were unhappy with how they worked and didn’t like the new CEO of Cool Cats, Chris Hassett, who left the company in January 2022 after only four months.
Even with these problems, Cool Cats has a core group of players who are still interested in its future developments, like its upcoming partnership with the NFT game The Sandbox.

Adam Bomb Squad has become one of the most popular web3 projects in the meantime.

Adam Bomb, the well-known mascot for The Hundreds, was made into an NFT collection of 25,000 “bombs” when the first Adam Bomb Squad coins were made. Early adopters of NFT who were familiar with Bobby Hundreds’ streetwear brand knew how important it was for a well-known company to release some of its most well-known IP as a PFP collection.

In keeping with The Hundreds’ streetwear roots, Adam Bomb Squad has always worked with important web3 partners like Bored Ape Yacht Club, CryptoPunks, Brain Vomit, and Deadfellaz.

Adam Bomb Squad also gives token holders a lot of extras, including things like merchandise and live events.

And after its “God Hates NFTs” prank at NFT.NYC went viral, it’s clear that ABS is adapting its attention-getting streetwear marketing strategies to the future of NFTs.

Given the size of the communities for Adam Bomb Squad and Cool Cat, even small drops like these help support older NFT projects by bringing together token holders during the so-called “crypto winter.”

The Hundreds x Cool Cats collection will be available on August 18 through The Hundreds’ official app and online store. Follow The Hundreds Discord for information about drops (including the early release for token holders).
